Excel Report on Economic Evaluation

Exporting the Variant Comparison (Excel)

The data of the economic evaluation and the calculation can be output in a Microsoft Excel document. This process is called Export variant comparison.

In the Project explorer, first select a Variant comparison node. This activates the export function, which is otherwise grayed out. Then you call the function Export variant comparison via the Project ribbon → Export group with the split button Excel.
Alternatively, you can make the selection in the context menu of an element in the Project explorer (right click → Bericht erzeugen Generate report Export variant comparison.

If there are several Variant comparison nodes in the project, you can export the variants for each individual Variant comparison node. To do this, use the menu entries (see the following figure).

The Variant comparison export is always created from the perspective of an actor (Stakeholder). If there are several Stakeholders in the project, a selection appears in the dialog for saving the Variant comparison export. Select the Stakeholder for which the Variant comparison export is to be executed (see the following figure).

The export dialog after creating the Excel file can be seen here.

Content and Form of the Exported Variant Comparison Calculation

The economic evaluation data for the selected Variant comparison node and all included variants are output in an XLSX document as a multi-sheet workbook. The worksheets contain tables, bar charts, and line charts.

The results of the economic efficiency comparison can be viewed in more detail in the Excel export than in the Variant comparison module, because each of the selected periods can be viewed there. The formulas for calculating the economic results are displayed by clicking on the respective cell.

The following overview lists the individual worksheets and their parts.
