Copy and Paste with Time Series
Tables can be inserted into the ETA by copy and paste from Microsoft Excel and exported from the ETA to a word processing or spreadsheet program.
Export Time Series from ETA by Copy and Paste
In the value table, mark the values of a time series to be exported. While holding down the <Shift> key, select the values to be exported. Click on the column header to select the entire column. Use the context menu entry Copy or the key combination <Ctrl>+<C> to copy the selected data points of the time series to the clipboard.
The time series from the clipboard can be pasted into a table or text in a spreadsheet program (Microsoft Excel, see following figure) or word processing program (Microsoft Word) with the key combination <Ctrl>+<V> or via the context menu of the program.
Copy and Paste Values into a Time Series in ETA
Values can be inserted with copy and paste into a time series already existing in the ETA.
Date, time, and step size of the existing time series remain unchanged.
If the imported time series is longer than the time series already existing in the ETA, the time series existing in the ETA is extended with the time step size of its last time step. As many additional data points are created until all inserted values are assigned to a point in time. For unequally spaced time series, the length of the last time step must also be specified (see following slider).
