Counting by Values
The method counts the data points of a time series whose values fulfill a certain condition. The number of these data points is displayed in a small window.
To start the method, select Methods → Analyze time series → Count from the menu bar or the context menu of the time series in the Project Explorer (see the following figure).
In the window that opens (see following figure), select the Time series to be processed. A multiple selection is not possible.
Count Condition
Under Count condition, you define the ratio of the values to be counted to a certain value within a tolerance range. The Number, the corresponding Unit, and the Tolerance can be freely determined. The comparison operators >=, =, and <= are available for the ratio to the value. The following applies in detail:
If necessary, the Tolerance limit for the condition can be adjusted.
The Count empty data points option disables the selection by values. Only empty data points (NaNs) are counted.
The result of the count, the number of data points that meet the condition, is displayed in a small window as shown in the following figure.
