However, a software as comprehensive as TOP-Energy bears the risk that not all eventualities can be checked. We therefore ask you to report any anomalies and errors to our support. You can be sure that we will take care of your concern immediately, provide you with solutions, and, in case of a bug, eliminate it as soon as possible.

Components
Costs And Revenues
In the Costs_And_Revenues component, it is not possible to enter Debt capital at times other than the start year 0. You only have the option of correcting this manually afterwards in the exported Excel file of the Variant Comparison calculations.
Software
For Experts Only: Access via the REST API Can Generate Artifacts
When using umlauts or special characters in node or component names and accessing TOP-Energy via the REST API, artifacts that slightly increase the project size may occur in rare cases during saving. This does not affect functionality. To avoid this, do not use special characters or umlauts.
Fixed Bugs
Project File Cannot be Opened Properly
In rare cases, a project file may no longer open or the opening process may take an unusually long time. We are already working on a solution and will release the new version 3.5.1 as soon as possible. Until then, we recommend waiting to update to version 3.5.0.
Crash When Moving Components on the Scheme
In rare cases, moving components on the Scheme may cause the application to crash. To avoid this issue, disable the Layout assistant in the Scheme-Ribbon.
Cooling Storage, Electricity Storage, Fuel Storage, Heat Storage, Heat Storage Steam Charged
In rare cases, the simulation with the Cooling_Storage, Electricity_Storage, Fuel_Storage, Heat_Storage, or Heat_Storage_Steam_Charged is incorrect because of numerical inaccuracies. The message 8355 appears: The linear optimization problem did not result in an optimum. The solution space is empty.
Please contact support so that we can send you a corrected component template with which the described error no longer occurs or offer you another possible solution.
Excel-Export of the Variant Comparison
The Excel-Export of the Variant comparison is suitable for a maximum Period under consideration of 40 years. For a longer Time period, the results may be incorrect.
User-defined_calculation-A
When updating a project to TOP-Energy version 3.4.0, the user-defined equations in the Programmable Control User-defined_calculation-A incorrectly overwritten. Please create a backup of your project before updating and insert these equations manually after the update.
Wind Turbine
In rare cases, the simulation with Specific investment costs for the Wind_Turbine component is incorrect. Message 8355 appears: The linear optimization problem did not result in an optimum. The solution space is unbounded. To solve the problem, please use the Investment cost function instead of the Specific investment costs.
