Create Value Tables
To display concrete and abstract time series or time series from different time zones in value tables, create separate value tables because they cannot be displayed together in one value table.
Create a new value table via the icon
in the upper toolbar or via the menu items View → Window → Create new data grid (see following figure).
Alternatively, time series can also be opened directly in a new value table. To do this, right-click on a time series in the Project Explorer or in the Plot Manager and select the context menu items Add to data grid → Insert into new grid.
Display Time Series in an Existing Value Table
Right-click on a time series in the Project Explorer or in the Plot Manager and select the value table in which the time series is to be inserted under the menu item Add to data grid (see following figure).
You can also drag and drop the time series from the Project Explorer, Plot Manager, or any other Data Grid into the desired Data Grid (value table). To be able to display several time series in one value table, certain properties must match.
Create new Time Series from Selection
You can create a time series from selected values. To do this, use the icon in the toolbar or the menu item
Create new time series from selection (see following figure).
Renaming the Value Table
Each value table has a toolbar. You Rename the data grid via this
icon. An input window for the new name opens (see following figure).
Arranging the Value Tables
Data Grids as well as Plot and Properties windows and the Project Explorer can be arranged freely in the ETA. Click in the upper bar of the value table and drag and drop the table into a temporary blue docking area.
You can determine the size of the window and the column width by drag and drop.
Edit Value Table
You can edit a value table and modify it with copy and paste.
You
Remove a column using the toolbar of the value table or the context menu of the column (see following figure).
