Make Equally Spaced
The Make equally spaced method uses a linear or spline interpolation method to generate equidistant time series from non-equidistant time series.
Equally spaced time series can also be created with integral maintenance. To do this, use the method Make equally spaced → Preserve integral.
To create an equally spaced time series by interpolating, use the menu items Methods → Change time series properties → Make equally spaced (see following figure).
In the Interpolate dialog box of the the Make equally spaced method, Select time series to be processed (see the figure below). Multiple selection is possible.
Enter the time step size (Sample time new), select the Interpolation Method and specify whether the existing time series is to be overwritten by the equally spaced time series or whether a new time series is to be created and, if necessary, provided with a Suffix.
