Changing to Concrete
To change a time series to concrete, mark it in the Project Explorer and select Methods → Change time series properties → Make concrete from the menu bar or the context menu (see following figure).
Use the Select time series button in the window that opens (see figure below) to select the time series to be edited. A multiple selection is possible.
Enter the desired Start time (date and time) and the Time zone for the concrete time series.
Select whether the concrete time series should overwrite the existing abstract time series or whether it should be created as a new time series.
After confirmation with OK, the concrete time series is created with the desired start time (see following figure).
Changing to Abstract
To change a time series to abstract, select Methods → Change time series properties → Make abstract from the menu bar (see the following figure).
Alternatively, you can use the context menu of the time series in the project explorer (see following figure).
In the window that opens (see figure below), use the Select time series button to select the time series to be edited. A multiple selection is possible.
Select whether the existing time series should be overwritten with the abstract time series or whether a new time series should be created.
The resulting abstract time series no longer has a date and time, but starts at day 00 at hour 00. With hourly resolution, the second time step starts at day 00 at hour 01 (see following figure). With hourly steps, this continues until the end of the time series.
