Changing the Length of the Last Sample (unequally spaced time series)
In the case of unequally spaced time series, the length of the last time step may initially not be defined. If ETA methods require the length of the last sample for calculation, a value is automatically set. This value can be changed later. To do this, use the method Change length of last sample.
To start the method, open the context menu of the time series in the Project Explorer and select Methods → Change time series properties → Change length of last sample (unequally spaced time series), see the following figure.
In the window that opens (see the following figure), select the time series to be processed using the Select time series button. Multiple selection is possible.
Determine the Length of the last sample and the corresponding Unit.
Select whether you want to overwrite the existing time series with a modified last time step or whether you want to create a new time series.
The Time Series Properties window displays the Length of last Sample. There you can verify that the last time step has the selected length. Open the window via the context menu of the time series in the Project Explorer (see following figure).
