Component Template

The component template User-Defined_Control.e-ctpl is located in the Component template library folder Programmable Control in the subfolder User-Defined Control.

How the Component Works

User-Defined Control allows you to add equations to the algebraic system of equations and the linear optimization model. This is an alternative to using the other components of the programmable control, which you place graphically on the scheme. With the User-Defined Control, you can achieve the same things as with the individual components of the programmable control by entering the PML equations.

An example of how to use the User-Defined Control is given in the section Calculation of the heat ratio under mixing temperature conditions of parallel connected heat generators.
