Hiding Layers

Hiding and Showing Nets

In complicated energy systems, a better overview can be achieved by hiding individual or all networks or certain components in the scheme view. Hiding is only visual and has no effect on the energy system.

The button in the Scheme ribbon shows or hides all the networks and the components of the Key Figures, Operational Side Conditions, Programmable Control, and from the template folder Others at once.

A click on the split button Hide layer under the button in the Scheme ribbon opens a drop-down list for selecting the available layers (see following figure).

A click on the layer in the list hides or shows it. The check mark in front of the layer indicates that the layer is visible. If a layer available on the scheme is hidden, the button indicates this in the ribbon.

Layers

Layers can only be displayed for the nets and components that are in the scheme.

A separate layer is created for each Material Model.
All the nets of one material model are on a common layer that can be hidden or shown.

In addition, a layer for Control and Others for components of the Operational Side Conditions, Programmable Control, and from the Others folder as well as a layer of the Key Figures are created.
