Online Tool for Creating Charts

TOP-Energy provides a comfortable online tool for variety-rich three- and two-dimensional graphical representations of data.

The online tool is available at https://www.top-energy.de/en/variant-calculation for visualizing data that you upload as a CSV file or insert directly into the input field.

Upload the data to be visualized by the online tool with the button Import CSV file in the browser window or by copy-and-paste into the empty window. You can retrieve the results of the Parameter study from the Folder you have specified in the Settings form of the Parameter study before. You can insert the interim results directly from the progress window of the Parameter study, and you can insert the final results directly from the results form of the parameter study.

Click Apply data in the browser window after inserting data (see following figure).

A 3D Diagram with an additional color scale visualizes the data (see following figure).

Alternatively, a 2D Diagram with color scale plots the data (see following figure),

or a Contour diagram visualizes the data (see following figure).

Displaying the Key Figures

If you hold the mouse over a point in the coordinate system, the values for that point are displayed in a tooltip. Clicking on the point displays these and the other values in the table on the right side (see the following figure).

Setting and Exporting the Charts

On the left side of the chart, you can change the assignment of the parameters to the X, Y, Z axes, and the colour scale. You can also select another filter parameter. Using the sliders, you can narrow down the displayed value range of all five parameters. Use drag-and-drop to adjust the alignment of the graph in three dimensions. At the top, you have the option to switch between the 3D, 2D, contour and table view. Use the menu button with the 3 horizontal lines to activate the full screen display, print the diagram, or download a PDF, JPG, or PNG file.
