Zoom Settings of the Scheme Editor
The Options menu of the scheme editor is accessed via the Extras ribbon → Advanced settings and in the window that opens under Scheme. The settings for the Zoom can be made there first (see following figure).
The Adjust scheme pages function can be activated with a check mark. It ensures that when a scheme is opened, it is fully fitted into the available display area and its size is adjusted accordingly. If this option is not activated the last display setting of the scheme is saved and restored the next time it is called up.
The Zoom factor refers to the magnification or reduction of the flowchart display at one zoom step with the zoom buttons 
or 
in the Scheme ribbon. The factor is the sum of 1 and the fixed value.
The Maximum zoom factor applies to the automatic fitting of the scheme into the available visible area. This prevents a nonsensical enlargement.
Grid Settings of the Scheme Editor
For more effective placement of components on the scheme, a grid of points can be displayed. This grid is determined by the following settings.
The Horizontal grid size indicates the horizontal grid spacing and the Vertical grid size indicates the vertical grid spacing in 1/100 mm.
The displayed horizontal and vertical grid sizes define the visible grid lines. Only every nth grid line is displayed.
The grid can optionally be Magnetic. Then the grid attracts the components so that the left lower marker of the components is placed on the nearest grid point. This makes it easier to arrange the components on the scheme.
The grid can be shown and hidden with the Show grid function. Alternatively, the 
Grid points can be shown and hidden using the Scheme ribbon.
If the grid is visible, it can be in the foreground, that is, in front of the components, or in the background, behind the components. This is set with the check mark in the Grid in the foreground checkbox.
The Grid color can be selected in a separate menu. Therefore, click into the line and then on the three points (see following figure).
