In this tutorial different energy supply variants are investigated with the help of the modules Variant analysis and Variant comparison. For a defined heat demand, energetic and economic indicators from the use of gas, oil, pellets, and a district heating supply are determined and compared.
It is shown how different components are repeatedly used in different simulation nodes or variants. In order to parameterize the differences between the components, either different components are created from a template (oil boiler, gas boiler, pellet boiler) or input values (primitives) are entered only locally, e.g., in the fuel tariff, by turning global input data (primitives) into local input data. Local primitives can differ in the different variants.
In the variants, investment costs are allocated to the new boilers to be purchased and operating costs to all boilers.
