Time Zone
One of the properties of a concrete time series is the time zone. It can be displayed in the Properties window (see following figure).
By using different time zones, projects can be carried out worldwide with real data. Regional peculiarities, such as the time shift in Germany, can be taken into account.
For simulation with TOP-Energy, the time series should have the same time zone in order to obtain simulable and comparable data. This is important for example with regard to the day and night rhythm. Details are given in the article Preparing Time Series for Simulation.
How to Change the Time Zone is described in the linked article. By adjusting the time zone before a simulation, for example, a time series describing a process from a project in one time zone can be used in another project with another time zone.
