The Component Electricity_Tariff
The component Electricity_Tariff represents a simple tariff for electrical energy. It describes the use of electrical energy economically (supply, feed-in, supply and feed-in). This component can be used to enter different tariff component parts. Use the Electricity Tariff_Germany for electricity tariffs in Germany.
From the Electricity_Tariff component template, an individual electricity tariff component can be generated by assigning specific information and specifying parameters in the forms. After a process simulation, the individual electricity tariff component provides information on costs, revenues, and energy flow.
Component Template
The Electricity_Tariff.e-ctpl component template is located in the Component template library folder Electricity Supply.
Integration Into a Scheme
Connect the Electricity Tariff component with its bipins in the correct direction: the pin on the left side with the electricity pylon icon to the supplier, i.e., to the grid, and the right pin on the side with the lightning bolt icon to the demand or consumer. The correct direction of the connections is crucial for cost accounting, because the flow of electricity through the tariff component from left to right is counted as supply, while the flow from right to left is counted as feed-in. Accordingly, the data from the two separate forms for Supply and Feed-in are evaluated.
How the Component Works
The general information on the tariff components applies to the electricity tariff, in particular to the Energy costs, Block prices, Energy demand costs, and Costs for CO2 emission.
Typical Input Data
First, select the Kind of tariff. There are three options: Only supply, Only feed-in, and Supply and feed-in. If there is only supply or only feed-in, please select the corresponding tariff type.

Miscellaneous Costs/Basic Charge
A simple basic charge per year, day, or hour can be entered under the heading Constant costs as Miscellaneous costs, e.g., in the unit EUR/year.
Stakeholders and Inflation Rates
For both the Supply (purchase) and the Feed-In, a choice must be made as to whether different inflation rates (Rates of price increases) are to be specified for all price constituents, whether One inflation rate applies to all cost components or whether No inflation rates are to be considered. You can activate the use of Actors by selection from the drop-down list.
