The Component Fuel Tariff Natural Gas Germany
The component Fuel_Tariff_Natural_Gas_Germany represents a fuel tariff model for natural gas in Germany. It can economically describe all gaseous fuel types occurring in TOP-Energy. The component offers the option to consider a gas tax.

How the Component Works
The component template Fuel_Tariff_Natural_Gas_Germany is based on a generally valid model for a gas tariff in Germany.
As for the Fuel Tariff, the general information on the tariff components applies, in particular on the distinction between supply and feed-in, on Energy dependent costs, Energy demand costs, Block prices (graduated prices/scaled prices), and CO2 costs.
The prices and the conversion rates refer to the lower heating value LHV.
The functionality of the Fuel_Tariff_Natural_Gas_Germany component is demonstrated in tutorials 05, 13, 41, 61, 90, and 91.
Gas Tax
If a gas tax is to be considered, enter the Gas tax (LHV) in the Typical input data (supply) form (see following figure).
To take into account a tax exemption (e.g., CHP) and tax refund, you can use the Fuel Tariff Tax Refund component (see the following figure).
Output Data
After a simulation, the Output data of the Fuel_Tariff_Natural_Gas_Germany component (see following figures) provide information on the Costs or Revenues, the Supplied or Fed-in fuel power (LHV).
