Gas Fuel Supplier

The Component Fuel Supplier Gas

The component Fuel Supplier Gas represents a universal model for a gas fuel supplier providing (natural) gas of any composition. The available gas mixtures can contain the following gases: CH4,C2H2, C2H4, C2H6,C3H6, C3H8, C4H6, C4H8, C4H10, H2, O2, N2, CO, CO2, H2O, H2S, NH3.

Component Template

The component template Fuel_Supplier_Gas.e-ctpl is located in the Component template library folder Fuel Supply.

Integration Into a Scheme

The following figure shows a scheme from Tutorial 3.

The template describes the properties of a supplier of gaseous fuels. The essential parameters are the thermodynamic parameters of the fuel, such as temperature, pressure, and composition. Presettings for certain fuels, e.g., Natural Gas (L) and Natural Gas (H), are available for selection. In addition, the Composition of the Fuel or the volume- or mass-based Net or Gross Calorific Value can be specified. The temperature and pressure of the fuel are used to calculate the thermal fraction of enthalpy.
