Simple Form Elements
The simple form elements are texts, images and diagrams.
Texts
The notebooks are structured by headings. Short texts explain the contents of the form.
On the left side of each input line are the identifiers (see following figure).
The identifiers have their own context menus (see following slider).
The Metadata contain information on Data source and origin (you can edit and store these there yourself; they are automatically transferred from the Component database), the Definition of the identifier and the Unit and limits (Default value, Default unit, Lower and Upper limit, Optional units). If information on the Data source and origin (Data origin or Data quality) is stored for an identifier, this identifier is followed by a small blue circle 
with an “i” in the form (see following figure).
If you move the mouse over this symbol, a tooltip with the Metadata for the Definition, Data origin, and Data quality is displayed. Clicking on the symbol opens a window where you can edit and save information about Data origin and Data quality.
Images
Images (photos, graphics, logos, etc.) can be inserted in the Scheme in the following formats:
- BMP,
- GIF,
- JPG,
- JPEG,
- PNG,
- PCX,
- TIF,
- TIFF,
- XPM.
To insert a file, there is an Import button. An imported file can be removed with the Remove button and exported with Export button (see following figure).
Diagrams
Diagrams are displayed for the characteristic curves in the component forms, and diagrams appear in the forms of the modules.
In the Ecology form of the Variant comparison, for example, a bar or pie chart can be selected via a drop-down menu (see figure below).
The context menu of the diagrams, which is opened by right-clicking on the diagram, provides various functions (see following figure).
With the Zoom In function, the digram is displayed detached from the form in a separate window that can be enlarged up to the screen size (see following figure).
