Pin Forms

Pin Forms

The pin forms are subforms of the components. They contain detailed information about the individual pins.

These forms can be displayed after the simulation. They are not displayed in the standard mode.

The Pin forms button in the Forms group of the Home Ribbon is used to show and hide the forms (see following figure).

The information contained in the forms comes from the connected material model. The variables and the calculation rules for the equations of state, balance, and reference state, the results of which are displayed on the forms, are stored in the respective material model.

A pin form of the material model water contains for example the subtabs Mass view, Energy view, and Exergy view (see following figure).

Pin forms of the material model electricity do not contain any information about the mass view, because no mass is transported with electric current.

The time series in the pin forms are not stored persistently because they are large amounts of data. Simulate once when opening a project to calculate the variables.
