Function of the Scheme Ribbon
The Scheme ribbon (see the following figure) opens simultaneously with the Scheme if Context related ribbon tab change is activated. The ribbon is used to edit the scheme and select display options.
The Scheme ribbon contains the following groups in addition to the Execute module application button:
Zoom
Fit to window Zoom the scheme to the size of the workspace.
Zoom in (F3) Enlarge the view.
Zoom out (F2) Reduce the view.
Interactive
Interactive resizing is used to enlarge a rectangular area to be selected with the mouse to the size of the workspace. Select
Interactive and drag a frame around the area to be resized.
Visualization
Hide layer
With the split button Hide layer, the different levels and nets can be shown and hidden: Control and Others (contains Programmable Control and the Operational Side Condition Priority), key figures, and the nets of the material models present in the scheme (e.g., fuel nets, electricity net, heat net, compressed air net).
Mass view
Energy view
Exergy view
Mass view, Energy view, and Exergy view can be activated after running the simulation to get a sankey-like representation for each view.
Tooltips
Tooltips enables and disables the display of Tooltips or components on the scheme.
Overlay icons
The Overlay icons button enables and disables the display of the Overlay icons.
Drawing
Select Select objects on the scheme.
Edit points Change the shape of the selected graphic element or edit the wrap points to determine the wrapping and alignment of text and annotations.
Picture Insert an image from a file.
Tools (Split Button)
The split button Tools shows the symbol of the last activated function. The following functions can be selected from the drop-down list of the split button Tools.
Draw line or free figure (+ Shift)
Polyline or Bezier curve (+ Shift)
Rectangle or square (+ Ctrl)
Ellipse or circle (+ Ctrl)
Text box
Adjust Format
Under the
Format split button you can set the color, outline, and font of the selected objects, e.g., the color of the net lines.
Fill styles

Edit text font
Clicking on one of the three Format buttons opens the following window where you can set the shape fill styles, the shape outline, and the font.
Font
In addition to the Format dialog box (see the figure above), there is the Font group in the ribbon where you can make the following font settings.

Italic
Underline
Font color The font color setting refers to the fill.
The font settings apply to the selected text or as a default setting if no text is selected.
Double-click the small arrow in the lower right corner of the Font group to open the same Format window as shown above, or a window for setting only the font (without color) if no object is selected.
Layout
Page layout
Page layout is the recalculation of the net routing for all objects of the scheme. It may be useful to repeat the routing process after moving components or manually aligning connections.
Align to grid points
Switch beetween automatic alignment of objects at the grid points and free positioning.
Layout assistent
The Layout assistent simplifies graphical modeling by automatically placing components.
Align (split button)
The Align split button is active when at least two components are selected. The last activated function is displayed as an icon on the button (see the following figure).
The following functions can be selected from the drop-down list of the Align split button.
Align left
Center horizontally
Align right
Align top
Center vertically
Align bottom
Distribute vertically: Equal vertical distances between at least three marked components
Distribute horizontally: Equal horizontal distances between at least three marked components
Show
Ruler
Show rulers for measuring and aligning objects on the work surface.
Grid points
Show grid points to align objects on the scheme.
Color panel
Show or hide the color panel.
