The Component Heating Battery Warm Water
The Heating_Battery_Warm_Water component represents a system for heating the air using a heat transfer medium flow.

The Heating_Battery_Warm_Water.e-ctpl component template is located in the Component template library folder HVAC Systems.
Integration Into a Scheme
Please note the Special Features of the HVAC Components. The following figure shows an example of how to integrate the component into a scheme.
The Heating Battery follows the Cooling Battery and precedes the Humidifier. The bottom pins are used to connect to the blue heat net with the material model MM_Water.
How the Component Works
The heat from the heating network is used to heat the air in order to ensure the air Air temperature specified in the Air Demand component at the inlet.
Input Data
Specify the Maximum and Minimum heat transfer in kW and, if applicable, Relative heat losses in %. You can Limit the outlet temperature.
For Temperature dependent simulation, specify the Outlet temperature of the Transfer medium (water).
Output Data
The Technical output data contain the Outlet temperature of air, the Supplied heat, the Mass flow at outlet, and Humidity at the inlet and outlet.
The Operating hours, Full load hours, and Number of starts are also shown.
