The Component Fuel Tariff
The component Fuel Tariff represents a universal model of a fuel tariff, with which all fuel types used in TOP-Energy can be economically described.
Component Template
The component template Fuel_Tariff.e-ctpl is located in the Component template library folder Fuel Supply.
Integration Into a Scheme
When connecting the component, select the appropriate material model when the following dialog appears.
How the Component Works
For the Fuel Tariff, the general information on the tariff components, in particular on the distinction between Supply and feed-in, on the Energy-dependent costs and Energy demand costs, on Block prices and CO2 costs.
The prices and the conversion rates refer to the lower heating value LHV (net calorific value NCV or lower calorific value LCV).
The component template Fuel Tariff is based on a general model. Within an energy project, an individual Fuel Tariff component can be generated from the component template Fuel Tariff by assigning concrete information and specifying parameters in the forms. After a simulation, this individual Fuel Tariff component provides information on the costs, the fuel quantity, and the energy content of the fuel used (see following figure) or on the revenues and the energy content of the fuel fed into the grid (see figure after next).
Special component templates represent a gas tariff in Germany and allow to enter tax refunds and other revenues.
